Tip ทำโจทย์ Listening : Conversation & Talk ให้ผ่านฉลุย

ในส่วนของข้อสอบ Conversation & Talk จะอยู่ใน Listening Part 3 และ 4 ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าความยากจะมีมากกว่า Part 1 และ 2 โดยเนื้อหาของโจทย์จะมีลักษณะคล้ายกันคือ

• Part 3 Conversation จะเป็นบทสนทนาระหว่างคน 2 ส่วนใหญ่เป็นผู้หญิงและผู้ชาย เพื่อให้ง่ายต่อการฟัง และหลังจากจบบทสนทนา จะเป็นการถามคำถามและบอกคำตอบ

• Part 4 Talks จะเป็นประกาศจากคนๆเดียว และหลังจากจบบทสนทนา จะเป็นการถามคำถามและบอกคำตอบเช่นกัน

 Tip : ในระหว่างการสอบไม่ต้องฟังคำอธิบาย ให้ข้ามไปอ่านโจทย์เพื่อเตรียมตัวตอบคำถาม

 

ลักษณะโจทย์ที่ใช้ถามจะมี 3 ประเภท

1. Topic/ Main Idea

2. Detail

3. Inference

 

 1. Topic/ Main Idea: หัวข้อ (เรื่องที่สนทนา)

• what are the speakers talking about?

• what are the speakers discussing?

 Tip : คำตอบมักอยู่ในประโยคแรก

 2. Detail Questions : รายละเอียดต่างๆ

• 2.1 Why?

• 2.2 How much, How many, How long (ถามถึงตัวเลข)

• 2.3 Who?

 

2.1 Why?

• Why does the man ask to leave the office?

• Why is the woman going to Chicago?

 Tips : คำตอบมักอยู่หลัง Because (Since)

2.2 How much, How many, How long (ถามถึงตัวเลข)?

• How long will the woman be in China?

• How many times should the woman call the client?

• How often should the woman take the medicine?

• How much of a discount will the man receive?

 Tips : ตัวเลขแรกมักไม่ใช่คำตอบ

 คำที่ใช้ในการเบี่ยงคำตอบ : but / however / instead / unfortunately / for that reason

2.3 Who?

• Who will call the supplier?

 Tips : ขีดเส้นใต้ Verb เพราะจะเจอ Verb ความหมายคล้ายกัน

 3. Inference: การอนุมาน

• What will probably happen next?

• Who most likely is the man?

• Where does this conversation probably take place?

 Tips : 1.อ่านตัวเลือกทุกครั้ง 2. มีคำไหนในตัวเลือกข้อนั้นมักจะผิด

 Keyword - จะอยู่ที่ Gate 17 และ only two carry-ons ซึ่งประตูที่ 17 และสถานที่ที่จำกัดกระเป๋าสัมภาระคือเครื่องบิน คำตอบคือสนามบินนั่นเอง
