 Reading ใน part นี้เป็นการสอบที่ยากที่สุดและใช้เวลานานมากที่สุด ซึ่งทำให้หลายๆคนทำไม่ทันและพลาดโอกาสในการได้คะแนนไป โดยเทคนิคที่เราจะมาสอนนั้นจะช่วยให้ทำข้อสอบได้ไวขึ้น และประหยัดเวลามากขึ้น...

ในการสอบ TOEIC จะมีบทความ 2 แบบ คือบทความเดียว (Single Passage) และ บทความคู่ (Double Passage) โดยประเภทของบทความที่มักเจอในข้อสอบคือ

 เมื่อเจอบทความต่างๆอย่าเพิ่งอ่าน!! 

เราควรเรียงโจทย์จากข้อที่ง่ายที่สุดก่อน โดยวิธีเรียงจากโจทย์ง่ายไปยากนั้นมีดังนี้

• โจทย์ที่เกี่ยวกับ “คำศัพท์”

ตัวอย่างโจทย์

          The word “manage” in paragraph 1, line 6, is closest in meaning to

                   (A) correct

                   (B) attract

                   (C) handle

                   (D) regulate

 

          The word “advising” in paragraph 2, line 1, is closest in meaning to

(A) helping

(B) choosing

(C) rejecting

(D) telling

 เมื่อเรารู้ความหมายหรือความคล้ายของคำศัพท์แล้วจะทำให้เราตัด choice ได้ง่ายขึ้น

 

• โจทย์ที่เกี่ยวกับ “เลข และ choice สั้น”

ตัวอย่างโจทย์

(D) To make the decision

 

          Why did Andy Palmer send a memo to Marketing?

(A) He wants to resign.

(B) He will not be at the meeting.

(C) He does not want to speak at the meeting.

(D) He wants to complain about not being invited to the meeting

 TIP :   Purpose Questions

1. ถ้ามี E-mail/ Memo ฉบับเดียว โดยไม่มีกราฟหรือตาราง purpose มักอยู่ย่อหน้าแรก/ 3 บรรทัดแรก
2. ถ้ามี E-mail/ Memo มาพร้อมกราฟหรือตาราง purpose มักอยู่ย่อหน้าสุดท้าย/ 3 บรรทัดสุดท้าย

 

• โจทย์ที่ถามถึง “NOT”

ตัวอย่างโจทย์

 TIP :   1) หา Keywords ตัวเลือก 2) ตัดตัวเลือกเมื่ออ่านบทความ

 

 วิธีกำรเก็งคำตอบของ Part 7 : Reading Comprehension

1) ถามถึงข้อมูลส่วนตัว หาใน E-mail

2) ถามถึงข้อมูลสาธารณะ หาใน Ad, Website, Schedule, etc.

 เมื่อต้องทำ Reading Part 7 แล้วให้ทำโจทย์จากง่ายไปยากโดยเรียงลำดับตามนี้

คำศัพท์ > เลข และ choice สั้น > Choice ยาว และ why > NOT แล้วผู้สอบจะต้องอ่านโจทย์ทำความเข้าใจให้ดีๆ รวมถึงการท่องกลุ่มคำศัพท์ด้วย
